Mosquito control

29/09/2006

Earlier in the year, Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council placed an advert in one of the pest control trade magazines looking for a company to assist in control Mosquito’s across 100 square meters of salt marsh at Parkgate and Neston along the estuary of the River Dee.

Never afraid of a challenge, Suddenstrike answered the Council’s call and after a number of site meetings the project got underway in early September and was successfully completed later in the month.

Mosquito control is a fairly new operation in the UK, but with warmer seasons occurring more frequently, the Mosquitoes are adapting to our climate and in future are going to be a huge issue for councils and pest control companies across the country.
