Suddenstrike Ltd NewsHow to proof an airport...01/12/2010 Suddenstrike has just completed a project to bird proof sections of the roof of the new extension of the main terminal building at Liverpool Airport. Completed ahead of schedule, these works were a test of our technicians abilities; however, they successfully finished the installation despite the adverse weather conditions and freezing temperatures we are experiencing this winter. The works carried out include installing a polypropylene net over a gantry area where equipment is stored; the installation of a polypropylene net over an area of the roof where air conditioning units are in place, and the installation of bird spikes to prevent birds landing and roosting on the ledges of the parapet wall.
